| How many social networking, location based, status update, bookmark sharing sites is too many? I am currently posting to some 20 of these and I keep finding more as time goes on. Do that many people actually use these things. How many Twitter, del.icio.us or Fire Eagle clones do we need?

| I received the replacement DVR this evening. Unplugged the old one, re-cabled the entire thing, turned it on and . . . same error as the one I am returning.
"A serious error has occurred with your hard drive"
So once again I call tech support. Only this time, it is going to take 5 days to get my replacement and here is the kicker. They offered me. . . wait for it. . . a whole $5 credit for my time and trouble. 5 whole dollars!?!?!?
Well why don't I just run out and celebrate. The send me a defective DVR and I have no recording available, and I get $5 back.
Looks like DirectTV is getting a phone call in the AM.

| In order to make the world a better place I feel everyone needs to work at least 6 months in retail or fast food. I think this will go a long way toward making people nicer to each other.

| Why is it that so many higher-ups ignore the warnings of they tech people and then are shocked when things don't work. Just like the tech person told them. I don't get it. Why even ask their advice to begin with?!
It seems to be an effort in futility.
